I started pressing flowers from my garden and I fell in love with the process. I had the idea to use the flowers to create jewelry and gave them as gifts for my friends and family. After receiving great feedback I decided to turn jewelry-making into a little side hustle.

My husband is a firefighter and he has learned to love this part of me. Not only has he given up his garage, but he also helps me out occasionally. I have two kids who love watching me work, and I love watching them turn into little creators themselves.

My real job is in the medical field, and making botanical jewelry is a side passion that doesn’t feel like work at all. When I’m not tinkering with flowers, I’m usually at a kids’ sporting event or getting dirty in one of my gardens. I’m excited to share my passion here and I’m an open book!
